Last updated [DATE]
This policy explains what personal data Degen Den Limited ("Degen Labs", "we", "us") collects through degentech.net, why, and what you can do about it.
1. What we collect
- Pre-order requests. Your name, email address, country and the product, option and quantity you choose. Optional: phone number, company, delivery address and notes.
- Contact form messages. Your name, email address, the company or project you give, the option you pick under "I am", and your message.
- Technical data. Our website host and email provider may log your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit or submission, to keep the site running and secure.
- Copies of your messages. We keep a copy of every contact message and pre-order request on our website server, so that none is lost if an email fails.
- Cookies. Visitors to this site are not given cookies. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. [CONFIRM: update this line if you add analytics or a cookie banner.]
- Payment details. A pre-order request does not collect payment details. When you later pay through a payment request, a payment provider handles your card details. We do not see or store them.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your message or pre-order request and confirm availability and price.
- To send you a payment request and arrange delivery, if you go ahead.
- To assess incubator applications, manufacturing requests and partnership enquiries.
- To keep records of our business dealings, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
- To keep the website secure and working.
3. Our basis for using it
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent when you submit a form, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running the business, and our legal obligations.
4. Who handles data for us
- Our website host and email provider, which store the site, receive the forms and deliver the messages to our inbox. [CONFIRM: name them]
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces. Your browser connects to Google to load them, so Google receives your IP address and browser details.
- A payment provider, only if you pay us. [CONFIRM: name, for example Stripe or PayPal.]
- Shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, only if we deliver an order to you.
- Professional advisers bound to keep it confidential, and authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Transfers across borders
We work across Asia and our providers may be based in other countries, so your data may be processed outside the country where you live. We take reasonable steps to keep it protected.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and pre-order requests for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, which we expect to be up to 24 months. [CONFIRM] Records of completed orders are kept for the period tax and accounting law requires. [CONFIRM with your accountant]
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the data we hold. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to withdraw consent, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, use the contact form on this site, choose "Something else" and start your message with "Privacy request".
9. Children
This website is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes and contact
We will post any change to this policy here with a new date. Questions can be sent through the contact form on this site.
